Donation Drop-Off Day
AS OF 5/8/2020 WE ARE SUSPENDING DONATION DROP-OFF. PLEASE HOLD ON TO DONATIONS FOR A FEW WEEKS WHILE WE GET A CHANCE TO GET CAUGHT UP. WE ARE OUT OF ROOM.
You’ve been stuck at home, cleaning your heart out. And no place to take those donations that are piling up in the corner or in your van. Well, fret no more! We are setting up a Donation Drop-Off Day so you can pass those gently loved items onto someone who will continue to love them. Bring ALL donations. Clothing (ALL sizes and genders), household goods, electronics, shoes, purses, jackets, collectibles, small furniture (no stuffed furniture, sofas, or mattresses), kitchen appliances, baby equipment, sewing items (for those making masks), and so much more!
AND, we are partnering with area food banks to collect food for those hit the hardest by this COVID-19 Stay At Home order. Those that are unable to work, or unable to get any assistance during this hard time. Bring whatever you can spare.
AND, there’s more! There’s quite a few angels sewing face masks for our first responders and heath care workers. If you have any extra fabric or sewing items, bring those as well. Even a sewing machine that you thought you’d use and never did.
Each Saturday you can drop off your donations at the old Aldi store, in the strip mall directly across from Fosters reStore, at the south end loading dock. Look for the Fosters box truck and follow the signs. Below are images showing you how to get to the donation drop-off site, right behind Family Video at 2065 Lathrop Ave, Racine, WI 53405.
